Wright Republic Air Force Heavy/Close Air Support Fighter

As tue Three Years’ War progressed, Wright Republic Air Force (WRAF) voiced a need for a multirole fighter, bomber interceptor, and ground attack aircraft, because of limited resources. In mid 2399 G.T., Isles Consolidated answered at long last with the P0-DR, a twin-engined fighter-bomber that outperformed all other similar craft of the war. With its heavy armament comprised of four fixed and one flexible tail-mounted .303 cal machine guns, eight underwing pylons, two rapidfire 30mm cannons, and a bomb bay capacity of 250 pounds (four 50 pound bombs carried here), not to mention the ability to carry carry range-extending drop tanks, it provided a valuble Wrightian asset that wracked up 47 air-to-air shootdowns and 67% of all destroyed Krakabloan vehicles and ground targets. Heavy cockpit armor protected the crew from all but the strongest weapons, and the though the H-tail provided additional redundancy, it was lacking somewhat in the size catagory, and could never carry a payload weighing more than 700 pounds. It possessed a top speed of 267 mph and a range of 45 miles. This P0-DR, of WRAF squadron OH-11 with the name of “By All Means, Baby!” is flown by pilot Sergeant Avan Masahno and gunner Lieutenant Coravanté O’Hara, a team that accumulated 7 dogfighting kills and twenty destroyed vehicles and bears a nighttime ground camouflage scheme. Activation group one for the bomb bay, and two to jettison drop tanks. Use VTOL for flaps. May the wind beneath your wings never end!
