Fictional

This aircraft originates from the days of the Korean War(which techincally lasts unto this day since no peace treaties were ever signed btw),when the U.S ground forces have seized one of the South Korean airbases invaded by North Korea.

That base had MiG-17s(since Soviet Union accelerated the development of the MiG-17 and bcoz of that it entered the operational service),and since some P-51 Mustangs were lacking spare parts,and USAF at that time did not had enough jet aircraft,the Air Force went up with a pretty cursed idea to salvage the MiG-s and attach the rear part(including the engine),wings and put landing gear on front onto the body of the P-51.

Only 4 of these were made,and one of them saw combat,but it was unfortunately shot down by a Thai Air Force's MiG-17.
The pilot successfully bailed out.

Following the shootdown,all of the remaining three aircraft were decomissioned in favor of the North American F-86 Sabre,which would go on to serve in various conflicts and different countries.
