Meant to ferry light cargo and passengers short distances. There were plans for a military version for reconnaissance missions, but, the contracts fizzled up before development and modifications could be done.
Pitch controls the angle of propellers, VTOL manages prop speed, and bank/roll with change angle of rotors, too. When you do bank or roll, go easy on on the stick or you could fall into an uncontrollable tumble and crash.
Do not max the throttle for the lift propellers. Ever. You will flip, and, you may not be able to recover.
This thing takes a skilled hand to fly, and, water landings are challenging.
If anyone takes this, and, makes it more stable and easily controllable, please let me know. Thanks!
