Auto Credit Based on TheAceOwl's Fw-667-B-2
Our new super bomber, designed for high altitude, long distance bombardment. She is so massive that the longest runway is almost not enough! (Operations) Shes pretty simple for a flying fortress, Take off is at 220mph. VTOL works the airbrakes for landing. 1-7 drop the bombs. WHEN LANDING, try to hey her to 220 and put on the airbrakes when you hit the runway and try and slow her down as much as possible, swirve side to side if you have to. Enjoy!

@Squirrel I tested out your' SB-4 just a few mins ago, as I spotted that interesting looking bird before I found the SB-2. I like the thought you put into the armaments section - so long as you keep the finger off of the trigger while pivoting that dorsal/tail turret to cover the forward angle, clearing the wing - so you don't shoot off your' own tails. What drew me in was the look of the eliptical wings. It reminded me of "What if a B-36 and Spitfire had a baby?" Maybe with a little Whitley thrown in for the tail. ;)
@DragonAerotech well i figured it it happened to you once then you would get not to take off too quickly.
@Squirrel really its based of the German's Ameri-bomber designs
I have an inkling that this was inspired by later B-36 designs? The use of props and the four jet engines seems to suggest that anyway. It flies great. It's a bit slow when rolling, but it's a bomber, not a fighter, so it's expected. Pitch response is pretty good though!
From a comparison point of view, my SB-2 is probably the most comparable plane I have to this. It has a larger wingspan, but a shorter length. I went a little more overkill on the payload front though. Would be interesting to see them side by side!
@TheOwlAce You should also provide a notation to carefully take-off despite the speed or you lose the lower quarter of your' tails due to the landing gear being so far forward. You should have named this the Mammut (sp?)! Many ships on here aren't this big. lol I was only able to safely offload the bomb load once in its entirety as the AI controlled birds don't know what distance to keep from her; Thus every test flight I tried ended in a "bird strike." lol
@Squirrel here she is!
@Benkelmans hi?
