SimplePlanes QuadCopter (Outdated design)
The Final version (I hope) of my Quadcopter is a 100% complete. I have removed all unneeded parts in an effort to make it flyable on lower end computers. Fuel blocks have been replaced with large fuel filled wings that detach when you "unlock" the rotors. Moved from big heavy jet engines to lighter VTOL Nozzles. Even though I have moved to the VTOL Nozzles, the design still uses no VTOL RCN Modules. The other big design change is the move from a 2 front rotor design to a 1 front rotor design. When you first take off the "front rotor" will be the front left rotor.
The Yaw now works but is very very slow to react. While most of the other controls are responsive enough that you just have to press them briefly, I find myself holding yaw down while still using the other controls. I still have not been able to land it once I take off, so again if someone is up for the challenge, please go for it and post about how you did it.
*As always please feel free to modify the design and re-post it. Please just remember to credit me for the original design.*
What you need to know to fly "SimplePlanes QuadCopter":
* Blue rotor cap denotes the front
* Orange rotor cap denotes the back
* Detacher #1 will allow the rotors to spin so that you can lift off
* The Yaw controls are very very slow and work best when you are pitched down
**Warning!! In order to make "SimplePlanes QuadCopter" I had to manually manipulate "The Code" in the plane design file for "SimplePlanes QuadCopter". If you do not know how to do this then you will not be able to edit the "Rotor Blades." If they are accidentally edited and the undo button does not fix it you may have to re-download the original design.**
I look forward to your comments. Please enjoy.
