de Havilland DH.88 Comet
Wow - so pleased to have been featured! Please don't forget to rate :)
The de Havilland DH.88 Comet racer was a twin-engined British aircraft designed for the 1934 MacRobertson Air Race. Three examples took part in the race and one of them won it. The type set many aviation records during the race and afterwards, as a pioneer mail plane. The modern features and clean lines of the DH.88, especially in the striking colours of Grosvenor House, the race winner, make it a true design classic.
Such a stunningly streamlined and beautiful machine left a real impression on me and I simply had to recreate her on Simple Planes. This is actually my third iteration and has been a real labour of love, teaching me a great deal about what this fantastic game can produce. I hope you get as much pleasure from flying as I have in crafting her.

Notes to pilots -
• VTOL slider up for raising the gear.
• The torque from the engines can cause a roll to the right, normally manageable but take caution with excessive banking at low speeds.

718 JaySto@WalrusAircraft - I have you to thank for the props, nose cone and engine panels (seriously appreciate how you've helped the mobile community join in the fun with these parts, thank you!) but the gear was from one of @Authros' creations ;)9.5 years ago
