TEB-21 Torpedo Bomber
When the Shepherd Initiative first arrived in the Azur World, they had a major problem: the loss of Solium had cost them most of their vehicle schematics. As a consequence, they were forced to begin designing their own aircraft from scratch. After the assimilation of the Blackout Assembly and the reformation into the Shepherd Remnant, access to Blackout-controlled manufacturing plants allowed these designs to enter mass production to combat both Azur Lane and the Crimson Axis in their attempt to conquer this new world.
The TEB-21 (Twin Engine Bomber, Model #21) was the Shepherd Remnant's answer to the rising problem of Royal and Sakura torpedo bombers harassing their ships: 'Build our own and make them taste their own medicine!' Built to be a and deadly carrier-based attack craft, the 21 uses its twin engines to carry up to four munitions between its engines and fuselage. The plane mostly serves in a torpedo bomber role, flying in formation to drop torpedoes in the path of an unfortunate vessel, though it also serves as a light bomber used to drop either bombs or depth charges. However, the craft's role is also its weakness; should the 21 be forced to run from an enemy plane, it relies on only one machine gun, mounted at the back of the cockpit. The plane houses a crew of three; pilot, bombadier, and gunner.
