M250 Fire Control Radar
A collaboration between me and Quec.
This is the first in the series of the M100 Heavy Multi-purpose Mobility Truck (or the HEMETT in Sosevean service)
Backstory
Designed in 1980 as a joint project between the Aurusea and Sosevea, the HMMT or HEMETT is a 9 tonne 8x8 heavy truck, capable of pulling a payload of 10 tonnes. A total of 10,000 has been built for the Aurusean military.
In Aurusean service, the HMMT has an Orion O600 Diesel engine producing up to 600 hp. It has a range of 500km loaded, and a maximum speed of 100km/h
The M100/M250 Fire Control Radar is a multi-function AESA trailer-mounted engagement radar with digital beam steering for use with the Warden theatre defence missile system and subsequently the Standard Missile family. It can control up to 30 missiles with a maximum range of 400km. There is usually 1 M100/M250 Fire Control Radar to an Aurusean Air Defence Battery.
