The Enoshima Type 96 integrated air-defense system (kyuu-roku-shiki togo boku shisutemu) is a Japanese developed surface-to-air missile system currently in service with the Japanese Imperial Army Corps as well as the Marine Corps. The air defense system is based on 8×8 cross country unarmored trucks, and includes four radar/command-and-control vehicles, ten transport-erector launch vehicles, and five medium-to-close-range SPAA vehicles, with each unit equipped with forty missiles typically equipped on ships. The system can track up to 100 targets simultaneously and target 12 at the same time, engaging fighter jets, helicopters, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles with relative ease.
