Ahtzee's Vertiplane v2.2
Welcome to version 2.2 of the Vertiplane!
NOTES
Some people may experience exploding of the craft. I think it may be caused by maneuvering in hover mode, which is the rotors hitting the frame of the aircraft. However, I don't experience any exploding problems. It may be different in-game physics for users. I have all my settings on "HIGH", including Physics. Or you can try changing the blade diameter of the rotors to a smaller setting. Hope that helped. Please give feedback in the comments.
INFO
This is a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), contra-rotating aircraft. It's a single seat, platform with full retractable landing gears. It's capable of takeoff and landing like both, a helicopter and airplane.
CONTROLS (HOVER MODE)
AG8 should be "ON" by default, which enables a 2-axis control to the rotors.
Pitch & roll to stabilize in hover mode.
Takeoff throttle is about 80%.
Approximately 73% throttle for stable hovering.
CONTROLS (TRANSLATIONING)
VTOL slider all the way up to tilt the rotors up to 90 degrees forward.
You can de-activate AG8 for flight mode (make sure you're not touching pitch and roll as you de-activate AG8 so the rotors are centered).
CONTROLS (FLIGHT MODE)
Just like a 'normal' airplane. ;)
But if you want to go back to hover mode, center the VTOL slider and make sure AG8 is "ON" for 2-axis stabilization.
ADDITIONAL CONTROLS
AG1 to toggle land lights
In flight mode, use trim slider to keep the nose leveled.
UPDATE INFO
Added external lights and land lights. Weight and balance adjustments. Changed to the sleek cockpit. Other minor tweaks throughout.

@lapisGamerYT that's my goals to the community! ;)
@lapisGamerYT mobile friendly baby!!! 😂
@lapisGamerYT
? 🤔
This thing handles so well!!!
@Ahtzee lol
@kikasshes shhh... I changed it. ;) 😂
The stabilisation is just 2 axis. I don't know a good way to incorporate yawning in a design like this. (That is why all my VTOL props are twin engines)
I have cracked the code. If you both pitch and roll at the same time, the propellers collide with the wings.
@Ahtzee it only explodes in vtol mode, I bet it's clipping the bar
@robloxweponco oh darn. I think that low physics causes the explosions.
@90corvette yeah. You can read the description again. I just updated it. You can read the NOTES section.
@Ahtzee I use low physics for the safety of me and my tablet
@Ahtzee Just downloaded the plane on my phone, it doesn't blow up. It must be some weird physics difference between the app and windows version
@Ahtzee Yeah, I'm not sure. Now it seems that it always explodes just after a certain amount of time, I left it running on low power on the ground and it still blew up after about a minute or so.
@90corvette it doesn't explode for me. Maybe it's different physics for users.
I love the idea, but I am also having the exploding problem unfortunately. It seems to happen when im pitching forward not far off the ground, maybe 76%-80% throttle, something near the rotors explodes. I'll keep playing around with it and maybe pin down whats causing it.
@robloxweponco it shouldn't blow up at all. It's fully tested as it's version 2.2. How or why is it exploding? And thanks for feedback!
Blows up very quickly
