XXVIIB Seehund

A real curve-ball from the workshop today, my very first Naval vessel and submersible!!

The Wiki: The Seehund (German: "seal"), also known as Type XXVII, was a successful series of German midget submarines created during World War II. Designed in 1944, and operated by two-man crews, the submarines were used by the Kriegsmarine during the closing months of the war, sinking nine merchant vessels and damaging an additional three.

The XXVIIB is equipped with two G7e torpedoes, which can be launched using the Air-to-Ground menu. she is also capable of diving to periscope depth using VTOL up and AG1 for propulsion. She has a max surface speed of 10mph and a max submerged speed of 6mph. Use roll controls for the rudder, and yaw to turn the periscope.

I have plans to make an interesting fictional project with this as a base, so keep your eyes peeled in the coming days/weeks. I'd say she turned out well for my first naval vessel, and I'm happy with the overall look. As always, let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement or if there is a vehicle you would like to see created. Thanks for stopping by to look, and enjoy your flig- I mean dive!!

@ZizouOlympia I would add a VTOL nozzle under the bow to help make it turn faster.

@Sgtk no problem, its really good, and realistic, but still, is there a way if I want it to be unrealistic?

@ZizouOlympia It does just go slow. I tried to be realistic in its speed/maneuverability. Still, glad you like it!!
