F.T.R.C. 45 Fighter bomber
Just a plane with a bunch of anti ground weapons, nothing to see here.
History
The F.T.R.C. 45 was a fighter-bomber developed and produced mid to late WW2 for supporting allied ground forces by attacking both enemy land, and air units. It could carry a decent amount of ordnance, the /2 variant being able to carry 2 250kg bombs and a single 500kg bomb, although this one had a drop tank for more range instead of the 500kg. Once all of the ordnance was dropped on to a target, it could get back up and support friendly ground and air units by attacking enemy aircraft, with the added speed and maneuverability from dropping all the weight. It also carried 8 LB-23R rockets for infantry and lightly armored vehicles. In terms of guns, it had 6 M2 brownings, and a single nose 37mm cannon. It overall performed well during its service life, although it did often fall prey to German aircraft, which were much more maneuverable. From 1943 to 1946, 973 would be produced, and a few are still in-tact on displays in museums today.
Controls
(Also in craft instructions)
Ag1- Activate tail wheel steering
Ag2- Open canopy
Ag3- Drop tank
Ag8- Turn off engine
During takeoff/landing the plane will turn to the side (cuz of the main gear being close together), but just use yaw and everything should go…slightly smoothly

Notes
This is technically my first build to have all custom control surfaces. It has flaps, wings, rudder, and elevators. I just realized it doesn’t have trim, but still cool.
Like I said in the controls, the plane has a tendency to turn left/right on takeoff. (It’s especially bad for landings) It’s probably because of where the landing gear is positioned or something, but I don’t want to move it because it’ll look weird. Just use yaw and tail wheel steering to counter it I guess.
This is probably another one of my favorite builds, although pretty annoying to make. The cockpit specifically, because I thought that it would be simple to make a cockpit that looks like whatever, but I somehow managed to mess it up in every way possible. I didn’t even consider an opening canopy until AFTER I finished the cockpit, so it looks pretty weird when opening it.
K enough ranting,
Enjoy!
