Refurbished second-hand B-20 (ok, it crashed but it flies again)
Former 'Community Wreck' by @Convex, restored to flying condition by @USMustang. Professionally refurbished, certified pre-owned and looking for a new owner. I originally planned to build it out as an ASW radar observer or an Air Tanker, but I'm already busy with other projects. So take her for a spin and if you like her, I can make you a good price, just don't ask too many questions about where I got it from.
Custom upgrades include:
- Landing gear (flipped around so the plane can stand on all three wheels instead of resting on its tail)
- Front wheel steering (on ground)
- Combined flaps/air brakes
Basic flying:
Takeoff: Pull VTOL slider down to extend flaps, use nose wheel steering (yaw) with minimal power to line up with runway. Then open throttle. Plane will take off by itself at 270 mph. Retract flaps and landing gear and cet course for destination
Landing: Decrease power to 30%, pull VTOL slider down to extend flaps, line up with runway and extend landing gear. Approach runway at around 150 mph, just before touchdown, push VTOL slider up to engage air brakes and kill engine.
Again, if I didn't make this completely clear. The original plane was made by @USAMustang and @Convex who really deserve all the credit. All I did was play around with it a little to make it a better flyer.
Happy flying

@USAMustang nope, there isn't, other than a few fixes on the flaps and landing gear. I hope I did give you credit enough.
