Wright's Land Defense Force (LDF) requested a high speed Interceptor in 1981 to contend with the looming threat of B-52 Stratofortess and TU-95 Bear bombers against the mainland. Sooku Dynamic Engineering Corp (SDEC) designed and produced the Interceptor MKII, after a year of research and development. The Interceptor MKII took it's first flight in November of 1982, and is still in active service with Wright's LDF. The Interceptor MKII before you is armed with four Krinkau air to air missiles, and features two 20mm cannons for taking down bombers.
