50 standard decades ago, 100 transport starships carrying 50000 passengers left the Gliese 876 star system to escape from its tyranny. These deserters wandered the universe for 10 standard years until they found a place to create a new civilization: A concealed star system with 8 planets, 5 Rocky and 3 gas giants, called the Kepler 90 system. These wanderers settled down and created the Kepler 90 Dominion in that system, and lived peacefully. The Emperor of Gliese 876 got furious when he heard that 50000 people fled his system so he ordered them found and killed. After years of searching, a pair of gliese recon ships with spies spotted the deserters in the Kepler 90 dominion and reported their location. A standard week later, 150 interplanetary bombers from the Gliese 876 system attacked Kepler 90 by surprise and bombed the gas giant Kepler 90i relentlessly, while Kepler 90's missile defenses retaliated. 30 bombers were destroyed, but the Gliese 876 attackers were still capable of destroying Kepler 90i, the farthest and largest planet in the system, which blew up, releasing an enormous flaming cloud of gas that destroyed another 10 bombers, before collapsing on its own core and vanishing from existence.The bombers retreated to attack again next week, but this time, the KAI, or Kepler Aerospace Industries built a fleet of interceptor planes to fend off the Gliese bombers. The Great Kepler - Gliese war had just begun. To make planes more sturdy, cheaper and simpler, the building style of the KAI planes was (almost) always segmented with no landing gear, but a sturdy hull instead that allowed them to belly land and takeoff. Eventually, the Kepler 90 dominion defeated the Gliese 876 system by destroying one of the stars of that 2 star system. The only star in the Gliese 876 system remaining was a red dwarf, that didn't produce enough heat alone to supply the outer planets of the system, making them freeze and their population die. The two closest planets were decimated by the supernova the star created, including the one the dictator was in, officially ending one of the deadliest wars in history. Even today, the Gliese 876 system, or what's left of it, hates the Kepler 90 Dominion, but they are not even close to being ready to attack again. Some people say they will still try to get revenge, but nothing is certain until it happens. The Kepler 90 dominion is one of the most powerful star systems today.
