F-16C
The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engine multirole fighter aircraft developed by General Dynamics for the United States Air Force (USAF). Designed as an air superiority fighter , it has evolved into an all-weather multirole aircraft, with 4,600 built since 1976. Although no longer acquired by the USAF, further variants were built to meet export markets. In 1993, General Dynamics sold its aerospace manufacturing business to Lockheed Corporation , which later became part of Lockheed Martin after its merger with Martin Marietta in 1995.
