Custom Missile Guidance Test Platform

A build I used to test missile guidance and proximity detonation.
Once airborne, activate group 1 and the missile will guide onto the selected target using two guidance modes, both use target elevation and heading change rate to hold an intercept course.
- At longer ranges it will guide into an intercept at low angles of attack to preserve energy and build speed.
- Once below 3500m the missile will swap to short range guidance to make corrections at full control surface deflection. As it closes distance with the target, corrections are suppressed to prevent overcorrection.
A proximity detonator activates at target ranges under 150m and detonates at the closest point to selected target. This works regardless of if the guidance mode is turned on or off. This way you can fly the missile manually to test proximity detonation since the missile rarely misses.
The warhead is a cleaver missile attached to detacher that activates as soon as rate(TargetDistance) goes positive and the range from target starts opening again.
