Backstory:

In the Campaign to regain territory over Minlin and the Bishui planes, some time after the Archon war, the Milelith Forces, who were loyal to the archon Rex Lapis faced a problem with the advancement of ground forces. Demons and other beings that dwell within the unclaimed land have put the Milelith soldiers under a severe disadvantage.

Although they have gained air superiority, the H-T40 Fighter-interceptors, with later variants being modified for ground attack/support roles are just not optimized for the role, its stall speed sits above optimal strafing run speeds, resulting in lower accuracy and sometimes, friendly fire. Liyue's Rex Aerospace Industries took it upon themselves to build the perfect ground attack fighter, the ZL-01

The leaders of the company swiftly began on building the fighter with causing as much damage to the enemy grounds as possible, and worked together with Guizhong to build the high-caliber G-250 "Rain of Stone" 250mm rapid firing cannons. The airframe was initially built around only one cannon, but Guizhong suggested the airframe be built around two.

With a twin-boom design resulting in a large wing area, the result is large room for conventional weapons like Antitank missiles and bombs.

The recoil of the cannons is sure to cause vibrations and structural issues, Rex Lapis and Guizhong had handed the company the directions to create a high-tensile material to dampen the recoil, allowing the more conventional materials to handle the vibrations.

With armor over the cockpit and the engines, the ZL-01 can take a beating over the battlefield, and the people of Liyue naming it the "Immortal Rock" for its toughness and heavy airframe.

Twin engines push the aicraft to mach 0.7 under full power with combat loadout. And it comes armed with 2x semi active air to air misisles for self-defence against air threats.

With its specialized armament, the ZL-01 became the backbone of the Milelith's advances, and is still Serving under some divisions to this day.

This special ZL-01, serial number 88-1231 was purchased by Zhongli before he gave up his gnosis and stopped producing Mora. Zhongli's aircraft was a later variant of the ZL-01 which had internal bomb bays under the Cannons. After being hired as consultant for the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, and having his aircraft wear the WPCS (Wangsheng Parlor Ceremonial Squadron) livery, the aircraft recieved 4x "Funeral Rocket" pods.

The ZL-01 is often seen flying with the Funeral Director's H-T40 G "Ghastly Flame" in ceremonial formations.
