The year is 1968 the Central Vortex command needed to increase the versatility of their heavy support fighter. Long bombing missions made the 301 series an excellent fighter for flights from Wright air base, but there was a need for carrier based missions as well but in 1972 the bunker needed a refit so in the years that followed the EAS was contacted to help refit it
