VTOL for Forward and Backward Movement, Roll for Turning, Landing Gear for Hammer Slam. oh and when going Forward and Backward, please set the VTOL switch to as close to the middle of VTOL without actually being in Neutral drive for better turning while driving (i probably made that extremely hard to understand).

There are TWO games going on here. Making and posting. Keep playing at both.
You are on Android so I am not sure if the placement is the same; look for the overload icon on the bottom right. (with the plane) If you don't have one go into "mods" in the main menu and make sure that it is enabled. (you might have to download the mod.)
Go to input controller
here you can change things If a word is capitalized "Throttle" make the replacement word is also capitalized "Trim... VTOL...Brake...etc." Same goes for true/false, (which are usually lowercase.). If you change too much, it gets funky.
@Kerbango uhh, I struggle with this coding stuff, do I need to put it in between brackets or smth? And where do I put it?
You can use overload to change the input value to be less than 1 / -1.
It sounds like you have throttle set to VTOL. Change the value to .1 / .1 or so, (even less if you want.)
FYI you can have two different action set to VTOL & Trim by making one 0 / -1 or whatever variable for down. the other to 1 / -0 for up. (or vice versa).
Personally I like to use pitch for propulsion, as the WASD key work well for keyboard users.
Also you can edit this page and give better concise instructions and pictures. you don't have to do it all in game.
