In reality, flight control computers have been put in charge of those static unsteady fighters, such as SU-57 & F35.
However, it's much more tricky to achieve the same results in simpleplanes. Without Gyroscopes, setting CoL in front of CoM will be an undisputed 'losing control' move.
But SP is not reality, you can simply cheat your way out.
PUFFIN is my way of making 'static unsteady' work.
