This is very temperamental in flight.
Originally developed as a private venture to a Royal Australian Air Force request for a ship launched scout aircraft, the Supermarine Walrus was used by the Fleet Air Arm, the Royal Air Force, the Royal Australian Navy, the Royal New Zealand Navy, the Royal New Zealand Air Force, the Royal Canadian Air Force, and the Royal Canadian Navy, among others. it was used in a variety of roles, such as Air - Sea Rescue, scout, maritime patrol, a radar testbed, and a transport aircraft for a dutch whaling company.
