History
The Messerschmitt Bf109 was a German WW2 fighter aircraft that made the backbone of the Luftwaffe. The Bf-109 first saw service in the Spanish Civil War in 1937, and was still in service at the dawn of the jet age.
The allies named it the Me-109, as well as some German aces, though it was never the official designation.
Notable features of the Bf-109 were its extremely high speeds, and large amount of weaponry for a fighter its size, bearing up to 4 machine guns, and 2 cannons.
My Replica
I'd say I did pretty good, I originally had just wing mounted landing gear, but I upgraded to a custom one. There's some cool markings on the fuselage, I kind of suck with decals so it isn't perfect. I went for a historical-ish color, though bright yellow isn't very popular, it goes well with the gray. Try to take off fast, the physics kind of freaks out when you start moving with the custom landing gear. But yeah, hope you enjoy!
