The 641st Boeing 747 produced was ordered by the French company UTA and was built with the serial number 23480. It made its first flight on 14/04/1986 and was transferred ten days later with the registration F-GETB. From October 1988, it was leased to another French company, Aéromaritime, for three years, until on October 1, 1992, with the liquidation of UTA and its merger with Air France, the aircraft was transferred to the new company and was grounded in Paris until August 2006. The company flew. Source: Airplane blog On 11/27/2007 [corresponding to 6 December 2007], Mahan Airlines through Blue Airways (one of the satellite companies registered by Mahan to circumvent sanctions in Armenia) registered this aircraft with the registration EK-74780 and took possession of C22Y485 configuration and imported it into the country. Shortly after the plane arrived in Iran, it was leased to Saudi Airlines for Hajj flights.
