Dutch Manufacturer Decker created this efficient, reliable plane for medium distance flights. Although they were designed for flights longer than 500 miles, the Model 27s never flew further than 300 miles. This was because of the enormous propeller engines, which made so much noise that passengers had to wear ear protectors. All planes were withdrawn in 2011.
