About RANSA:
RANSA (Rutas Aéreas Nacionales S.A) was set up by Carlos Chavez of Venezuela and US citizen Everett Jones at Caracas in Sep1948. The all-cargo carrier began nonscheduled charter flights to Miami, both direct and via the Netherlands Antilles. Although officially based at Caracas, the company conducted all of its operations from Miami. Ceased operations suddenly in 1964.
