@AviationDynamics it's a useful tool for identifying when people are using multiple accounts to break the rules, usually to harass people or flout bans. I can assure you that that's all that the tool is there for.
@Skua I'm not accusing you of seeing my IP. Just seems a little...creepy, that's all. All the mods knowing that kind of stuff.
@AviationDynamics like I said, they don't tell us the IP, only other accounts that it matches with. At no point have I seen your IP.
@Skua But they never mentioned they'd give it to mods at all. Only that they'd log it.
@AviationDynamics "The IP address associated with an airplane, comment, or rating is logged indefinitely."
@Skua huh. They never said that was allowed in the privacy policy.
@AviationDynamics part of the mod tools to check for people using alternate accounts to break the rules. We can't see your actual IP, but we can check for matches with other accounts.
@Skua Wait, how do you have my IP?
@Skua No, I just know him in person. I just enjoyed the plane and wanted to see what I can make out of it.
@Skua Maybe he's trying to collab with himself
I know that you and @AerodynamicallyConfused share an IP, so I assume that either you know each other in real life or are the same person. Now, both of those things are fine, but I do have to ask why everything you post is a variant on the same plane from that account? I recall taking some down a while back, which you now seem to have deleted.
