Ocean Floor Explorer
This Ocean Floor Explorer has been designed to explore the ocean floor using only instruments for navigation. Ie. it has been designed to navigate most extreme terrains. It can drive on 90 degree angles, get over most sharp edges, can deploy various signals and has slow descent. Maximum depth tested was under 10,000 ft.
it can be used to explore the ocean floor and also cross between islands. It has been able to navigate between many islands and land masses, however it has been unable to reach the Island to the east of Wright airport where the depth exceeds 10,000ft and vast chasms must exist.
Controls:
The main thing when navigating to to keep it on a set heading and monitor the speed. Keep it in the 30’s mph when descending.
- VTOL up/down = forward reverse (for subsea).
- AG1 speed boost. Use briefly and only when apparently stuck. If this doesn’t work then reverse and change course.
- AG2 for comms. equipment.
- AG3 to release signal buoy (use flares when deployed to locate).
- AG4 to release second signal buoy (use flares when deployed to locate).
- AG5 to deploy subsea monitoring equipment including flare launcher and light panel
- AG6 to launch life raft.
- AG7 to release trailer and deploy chutes in case of emergencies.
- AG8 to turn off down force, gyro’s and lights.
- TRIM provides a front jack should the vehicle become stuck. Use while reversing.
Notes:
- The conventional engines (throttle) can be used while on land.
- If restarting underwater you will need to wait for the main engines to surface before you can operate the vehicle.
- It is sometimes difficult to determine if you are moving forward or backward due to the speed gauge not providing an indication of this.
- Make sure all equipment is stowed correctly, otherwise things like loose office chairs and laptops can bang around inside the cabin.

For some random reason that I don't know, I was exploring the underwater areas of the desert (I forgot the name since its been so long since I last played) and while I was, I was just listening to the coconut mall theme. Why? I don't know! awesome vehicle tho.

Time to download the u underwater mod
Me too @Sonnyboy1205
Nice, man! Wish I could see what the explorer was doing under the ocean though.
Thanks - interesting
@Shmexysmpilot
Late to the party, but this is an image I got of part of the original island without water. It was from an old version of the game where water was rendered a certain distance from the cockpit instead of from the camera being viewed
Wow, interesting... @Rodrigo110
It happened when I crashed an aircraft and when I paused it created this interesting glitch. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to replicate it again so that’s the only image I have @SpiritusRaptor
@Rodrigo110 Fantastic - where did you get it? and are there more?
Since this is an undersea explorer, you might find this image interesting as it shows Krakabloa without any water
Yep! @SpiritusRaptor
@Awsomur Thanks :) did you notice the laaptop and chair bang around the cabin aand fallout? hehe
I know I praise you for everything, but this has to be the wildest, craziest and most far-out build you’ve ever done. I love the little house/office with windows!
@DarthAbhinav well, in Poland spiritus is 100% alcohol, and raptor is just a raptor... So yeah, for me he's just a drunk raptor XD
it exploded on me...
Only you make stuff like this.
Wow.
It was an old FPS gaming name that stuck... now its just SR!!! @Rodrigo110 @DarthAbhinav
Spiritus Raptor actually means ‘Spirit Rapist’ In Latin @DarthAbhinav
@SpiritusRaptor. Another awesome build. Keep up the work and always awesome that you put lower part version.
@SpiritusRaptor cool look forward to whatever you make
Not sure... maybe a retro offroad vehicle... @Skydeath
@SpiritusRaptor what kind of a thing are going to make next just wondering.
