It was put into the service in 1920, flying with many squadrons, but distinguishing itself by being the primary heavy bomber used by the 18th Bomber squadron "dampfbetrieben Fliegern" (Steam-powered aviators). It could carry up to 36x Bombe B.XV/XVI. Serving the Kaiserreich up until 1931, this mechanical wonder was well renown across the world.
