X-286 / Rosevear-Reflex Calista Trainer
Fictional Basic Trainer
A phase II trainer according to the ATC’s doctrine, the Calista is a design that came about as a result of a joint ADF/ATC trainer request for proposal. The onboard Reflex-NGAR system allows the digital displays in the cockpit to simulate a variety of situations and environments to allow more diverse training. Like the ATLA, Calista can quickly be converted into a close air support or observation platform.
Basically just another product of a "rhetorical situation" similar to what produced the ATLA and Mimosa. Expect more of these little trainer planes.
