Part of my scaled WW2 series - All aircraft built to scale, with accurate weights, speeds and flight characteristics to the original.
Employing a powerful engine to a tiny metal airframe, the Germans created a powerful fighter that was top of its league. However, the BF109 was difficult to land. Many cockpit duties were automated, giving the pilot the freedom to focus on the dogfights.
