North American P-51H-5 Mustang [Non-VR]

Intro

The P-51H Mustang was the last and pinnacle of the Mustang family, based on the Lightweight Mustang project. The resulting aircraft was 600 pounds Lighter than the previous model, while having a newer, less output on takeoff, but more Powerful Packard V-1650-9 Engine made it the fastest of its Family. Despite all of that, it missed the opportunity to fight a worthy foe as the War in the Pacific and European fronts were coming to a close.

It being an entirely new design and only sharing 10% of its components to the D variants made it unsuitable for Logistics during the Korean War, and thus never saw any action despite producing 550+ aircrafts even after the world war.

Outro

And this thing is done. I had alot of projects including Yak-3U and the new Ki-44-III i wanted to work on, but i realized the P-51H was (sort of?) the easiest to build of the 3.

I made use of AntonWings' "Double Hull" fuselage and somehow made it work for this build. And it actually looks great. I also use WT as my reference and as for the "decals", lets just say theyre my Signature "Pappy" and "White 27" in almost all of the Prop aircrafts i play xD

Also, Credits to L1nus for giving me the Code for the functional WEP

@FlyingPatriot doing cockpit details just really isnt my thing, plus i have no VR headset to really test it out, aswell as only having a phone that can run less than 900 parts. So im really restricted.
