My attempt at creating a 1:1 F-14.
- AG 1 lowers arresting hook.
- AG 2 'kneels' the plane and lowers the launch bar (Connect to the catapult before kneeling. Otherwise the nose gear will hover in the air).
- VTOL controls the flaps.
- Trim up controls the wing sweep.
Important notes:
- Using mouse control or flight stick is recommended, as keyboard control usually would yank the plane out of control.
- Be sure to deactivate AG 2 after take-off, otherwise you'll have a bad time when you land.
- Keep an eye on the speed. She won't like it if you go too slow in a dogfight.
- Hard maneuvers tend to rock and roll the plane left and right, use the rudders to try and stabilize.
Cat-launch engine power: 75% (More than that and the plane will tip forward)
Carrier landing speed: 160 mph
I actually made this around 3 years ago and never finished her. But I got back to her a few days ago and this is how she looks like now.
Cockpit is very empty though, sorry, I just couldn't create a realistic cockpit.

P.S.
I challenge you to dogfight against this in the AI dogfight mode.
