AG1 + Yaw to turn turret
AG2 + Pitch to elevate gun
VTOL down to go forwards
VTOL up to go backwards
Steer with roll, speeds exceeding 12 mph aren't recommended while turning.
Early production version of the WTI 12060. Developed as a competitor of the Chieftain in 1960, it had several advantages, such as being smaller, and it was also lighter. However it had some significant drawbacks, the limited gun elevation and low road speed being two of them. In the end, the Chieftain was chosen, as a more allround alternative, even though it was more expensive.
It was armed with the Royal Ordnance L11A5, and a WTI 25mm autocannon.
