Description

The M4-APC "Steelback" is a formidable 8×8 armored personnel carrier designed for versatility and maximum protection in modern combat. Built by Maximum Industries, it features a powerful supercharged W-16 engine, enabling impressive mobility in both road and off-road conditions. The Steelback is equipped with a 90mm main gun, capable of launching HESH rounds, as well as a pair of .50 caliber machine guns for suppressive fire. It also boasts TOW missile capabilities, providing it with the firepower to engage and neutralize armored threats from a distance.

The vehicle is designed to carry up to 8 infantry, ensuring the safe transport of troops across dangerous terrain, with its hydropneumatic suspension system offering the flexibility to lower the vehicle for high-speed travel or raise it for enhanced ground clearance in off-road mode. In addition, its amphibious capabilities allow it to navigate water obstacles, making it ideal for diverse environments.

Armor protection is a key feature of the Steelback, with blow-out panels for the TOW missile storage and main gun ammunition, providing added survivability against enemy fire. For added protection, the vehicle is equipped with smoke launchers to obscure its movements in the heat of battle.
