It stands to reason that its predecessor, the IFV-OT, is an artifact, but based on the V.U.Ra3 Allied system, there has been a long-lasting combat unit consisting of the aircraft carriers and gunships. The artillery's function must be redistributed with the Air Force and the Navy for game balance. So in the new version, the IFV multi-function jeep once again returned to the old line of missile air defense. Fortunately, the new missiles are intensively fired, and many high-performance fighters are not necessarily able to cope with them. Faced with it, they can only choose to rely on invisible and multi-band jams. Therefore, it exists as the backbone of the Allied Army's missile air defense firepower.
The only downside is that this type of air defense vehicle can't deal with invisible and strong interference equipment units. Therefore, in the early stage of T1, if you try to present it, you may face the Soviet Terror drones and the empire's burst drones and rocket angels. However, the current system of the Allies does not seem to be particularly lacking in air defense. The missile box of the hydrofoil and the near-proof Miniang, the 5-tube intensive array of the raid, and the phantom of the ammunition are all good air defense fire platforms. In fact, IFV has the task of completing the mission as long as it has the firepower of the non-invisible air force.
Note: Because of the missile defect under the Doppler radar principle, it is not suitable for dealing with air targets that are almost close to the stationary moving speed. The faster the flight speed, the better the maneuverability, and the closer the body is to the excellent conventional aerodynamic performance, the greater the possibility of a new IVR blasting machine. (In summary, the better the non-stealth conventional fighter is the easier it is to be shoot down).
