In an alternate time during the cold war like its former predessecor the blackbird was sent to go spy deep into the USSR.

However in this timeline the soviets advanced their missile technology further than out timeline so a blackbird was shot down although the wreckage wasn’t recovered by either side although the wreck was never found by either side this sent the U.S into a panic with the spy satellite program still being worked on.

The U.S needed a new spy plane one that could fly faster and higher than any aircraft or missile in service which lead to a joint corporation between the lockheed skunk works and nasa to form Ravirium aerospace with flight data from the earlier x15 and the later sr71.

The Skypiercer was born being able to achieve hypersonic speed up to mach 7-8.
