Mk V Tank WW1 Challenge
The Mk V tank was one of the last Mark tank designs. It is one of the more popular ones due to its effectiveness and survivability. Featuring two-four 6 pounder naval guns, with 2 in front and sometimes 2 in back, with either the turrets out of the side box or inside (this one has outside turrets). It also features 1 Hotchkiss Mk 1 machine gun (capable of 400-600 rpm with 8mm rounds). It had decent armor, with 16mm front armor, 12mm sides and back, and 8mm on the roof. With a top speed of around 5mph (8kmh), it couldnt keep up with the infantry it was supposed to support. It had a decent 19 litre 6 cylinder in-line Ricardo petrol engine, capable of a power to weight ratio of 5.2hp/ton. Its operational range was around 45 miles( 72 kilometeres) and after that it tended to break. It had a Wilson Epicyclic Steering system, and could traverse at around 12 degrees in 5 seconds. It held a crew of 8, with a commander, driver, radio operater, and gunners. Controls: PITCH to go fowards and backwards, YAW to steer. AG1/2 for foward/backward guns, PITCH/TRIM to move left and right guns, THROTTLE to move guns up and down (no gun depression). LANDING GEAR to bring down trench wheels, this is for the WW1 Challenge made by captainhall

Nice detail
@captainhall yeah, I’m not that good with detailed airplanes that fly, so I try to stick with ground vehicles with great detail.
@lilsniper334 it’s nice to see some non-airplanes entered into the challenge
@captainhall awesome!
Great!
