1935 XVI Keg II D
The Keg D was an improvement over the Keg C, B and A it used the aerodynamics of the keg racer built in 1931 to increase its top speed to over 300 mph whilst keeping a small lightweight engine, the weight was altered and the armament was revamped, as the 7 gunned keg C proved to have too much recoil for the pilots to handle, it also fixed stability and agility with rdesigned horizontal stabilizers and main wings!
The Keg D was developed around the same time as the Keg C but first flew a few months after its heavily armed counterpart, it entered service with the RAF in late 1935 and continued to serve whilst continuing to be upgraded untill 1946 (as a secondary line and export fighter) in some other air forces the keg D was not retired untill the late 1980's! Because it was so reliable and loved by its pilots for its speed and climb rate, although the plane was slightly unstable it was still fly able, and made many more aces than the keg C did, although it did not claim as many ground kills!
This particular aircraft is a first generation aircraft nicknamed, cailleach-oidhche mhรณr, in English, Eagle Owl
It came into service in 1935 and had the pilots who kept the name going after the first was KIA
Enjoy and sorry that the AI cannot fly it properly it flies drunk.

These little buggers may look manouverable but they handle like a cow dragging a car through a bramble thicket by its ears... @General360
@General360 this one is more 'up to date'

2nd stage ongoing!
@GINGER01 thankyou! I enjoy the small builds, they're always fun to fly and you can fit so much into them! @Dosbrostacos lol
IT'S SO CUTE!!!
@PlanesOfOld the plane is small but high in detail. Nice job.
Thx also, beware if you want to live never get in a plane piloted by the AI just watch how it flies this rolling around like a blind drunk lol @deusalgor
@PlanesOfOld everething is ok =)
@deusalgor I have built this using the keg A so contest rules apply I hope the aerodynamic nosecone and wheel skirts are allowed :/
Lol it was unintentional, check out the C variant and you will see that it was actualy based on the I-16 Lol but I see what you mean! @Spikerya
lol looks like if a Gee Bee and a Fw-190 had a baby
