Aérospatiale Alouette II is a French multipurpose helicopter. Developed and produced by Sud Aviation, later by Aérospatiale. The Alouette II became the world's first production helicopter with a gas turbine engine. It was used both in the armed forces (as reconnaissance, liaison, training, anti-tank) and in civil aviation.
