history

The war has ended and one veteran, lieutenant Arthur Hunt, wanted to create a lasting tribute to his p-38 that he so dearly loved, that was shot down, and dropped into the sea. His neighbor was an old german pilot who was staying in america, and he happened to fly the bf-110, and after seeing pictures of the 110 had the idea of making a hybrid, a p-38 mixed with a 110, and thus this monstrosity was born.

what really happened

I was talking with my buddy @LieutenantSOT on discord and I had the idea for a quick 10 minute build, and well, it kinda sucked, both of ours did, so we decided to bump it up to an hour, and this is the result of my hour (and a bit more, dont worry I told SOT he could have a little extra too). This was honestly alot of fun to do, you feel the rush when your building, it's not as easy as it looks in shows, time goes by fast.
