Crusader-III

The Cruise Missile Launcher

Demo Video

Cruisader-III carries 3 cruise missiles with tactical nuclear warheads, each of which is controllable by the player in flight. Once launched, you can fly the missile as you would normally fly an aircraft.

It's intended objective is to be a coastal defence unit, effectively engaging enemy carrier groups, both within radar range and beyond, with small nuclear warheads. In extreme situations, it can also be used as an air defence unit to take out high-threat enemy aircraft.

Standard Operating Procedure

The missiles can be used both on ground and air targets, without locking them, from any targeting mode. You can detonate a missile in-flight at will. It's good to see the Demo Video to get an idea how it's supposed to be used.

Standard Operating Procedure for the launch:
1. Use Pitch and Roll input to drive Crusader-III to a desired position.
2. VTOL to max: extend support pistons and raise the missile platform.
3. Change camera to Cruise Missile 1, 2 or 3
4. AG1/AG2/AG3 - launch the cruise missile 1, 2 or 3. It takes 4 seconds for the missile to be launched after the button was pressed.
5. Use Pitch and Roll inputs to controll the missile in-flight.
6. Use Gun trigger to detonate the missile while in-flight.

Enjoy!
