A-37B Dragonfly
The Cessna A-37B Dragonfly was a light attack aircraft based on the T-37 Tweet trainer aircraft. It entered service with the USAF in the 1960s, proving highly effective in counter-insurgency missions during the Vietnam War. Its agility, twin-engine configuration, and ability to operate from short runways made it versatile and reliable. After the war, it continued to serve before being phased out and replaced by the A-10 Thunderbolt as the USAF's main CAS aircraft in the 1980s.
