Guides

Gold Prix

• The NJM17 doesn't need DRS to Achieve 0:28 on the Gold Prix.

• Understeer? just do a quick pull on the brake and corner at minimum 430km/h, it should turn with ease.

• Try To get 730+km/h after the first turn.

Airstrip Drag

• umm idk i was lucky to get 0:32 at Airstrip Drag

• Don't go off track! due to the Ultimate downforce, if the base of the car collide with the airstrip it'll explode.

• Try to get 740+km/h on the straight without DRS.

• Before taking a corner make sure the car is at 540-km/h so u can corner safely.

Car Activation Group

• The DRS (Ag1) is a lil bit useless because it reduce the top speed and stability.

• More Steering Angle, use this when there's a sharp corner.

• Rear Flashing Lights, kinda useless, for aesthetic purposes you can keep it on.

@GrandPrix I must say that really adore your smooth bodywork, and doing slip angles on it is a really fun experience

@ReyNakajima I made a Ferrari 412 t2 a while back and it has similar features except for the suspension issues

@Wickerwick Thanks for the critics, it's the car's suspension flaw, should work fine on Normal Speed.

@ReyNakajima Odd thing: when I put the game on slow speed using the in-game speed changer the suspension would shoot the front end of the car up into the air, taking a bit of the backside up with it. Even stranger, if you hammer down and fully accelerate the car will maintain a wheelie. But it gets worse. Still on full acceleration, the cars back end will repeatedly bump into the group 2-3 times before going AIRBORNE. This will also happen if the car looses grip while sliding sideways. This isn’t the first time that physics can be manipulated by the in-game speed changer, as there are several more issues with the thing. I have screenshots, but I don’t know how to get the links for them.

@LoonySoup Thanks, about the extra steering angle, i mainly use it for parking purposes.

Looks gorgeous! I found it very fun to drive, the TV-CAM is very well positioned, 10/10, got a time of 0:27 around Gold Prix! I couldn't extract much utility from the extra steering angle feature, it seems like the excessive angle just makes the front tyres slide more, but maybe it's just my fault because i'm not used to such feature :/

@ReyNakajima the extra steering angle with ag2 is genius too. Might steal that idea sometime!

    Wow. Great job!
Can I try and tune it a bit and make an update? Really want to play around with the springs and grip because I love how it looks and how it's built!
This is a really cool car man!
