SF-24D Fish-cat
(needs beta for glass, but can still be downloaded without it, just remember to reconnect the magnet)
Ah yes another Fish-cat, great. It's part of a challenge, pretty much expected. Slightly """"""realistic"""""" tho with slightly exaggerated acceleration and manueverability. Anyways, enjoy or..........
You'll enter a flat spin because of jet wash
SF-24, Defender of the fleet
The SF-24D is the 2 seater multirole fighter variant of the SF-24C. It has incorporated the improvements and tweaks of the C variant from the A. It has a slightly longer fuselage to accommodate the copilot. The SF-24 was developed from the SFX-24 prototype, and was created to replace the aging SF-12 "sky raiders". It is still active and a unit costs for about 820,000$.
Features:
Very simplified cockpit for the sake of mobile friendliness
Working ejection seats and dials
Formation lights
Elevators participate in roll once wing is sweeped
Intructions:
Normal flight controls
VTOL up for swing wing, VTOL down for flaps
Trim for trim, brake for brakes
Ag 1 for afterburner
Ag 2 for arresting hook
Ag 3 to deploy refueling drouge
Ag 4 to drop external fuel tanks
Ag 5 to open cockpit
Ag 6 to eject
Ag 7 for formation lights, Ag8 for Nav lights
Stats:
- producer: Southrop Grumman
- max speed:
- 534mph(w/o AB) and 798mph(w/ AB) @2500ft
- 738mph(w/o AB) and 1125mph(w/AB) @ 25,000ft
- 758mph(w/o AB) and 1130+mph(w/ Ab) @ 43,000ft
- armament: 1 30mm autocannon, 4 BM-24 interceptors and 2 BV-65 medium range missiles
- payload: 3 bomb50s
- crew: 2 persons
- maximum recommended altitude:
50,000ft - recommended altitude: 12-26,000ft
- status: active
- number produced: 567 onwards
- cost: around 820,000$
Designer notes:
Never go slow motion while stationary and attached to the catapult, or you will go boom.
At a certain Altidude wings and engines will become less effective.
Not so mobile friendly
Very slight but unnoticeable autoroll
Exaggerated acceleration and manueverability
Cockpit view is shaky and canopy will move on high G manuever and is basically a STOL plane

It's time to buzz the tower

Me: Mom, can we have a tomcat?
Mom: No, we have a tomcat at home.
Tomcat at home:
(Btw great build!)
I LOVE IT!
Nice work!

a yes a man of quality as well
The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't.
In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was.
The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.
Wow
@Highground
Tease it. Or go to solitary. Now.
@KnightOfRen I'll do that when you say t on a teaser
@Highground
Cool! Tag me!
@KnightOfRen thanks, I am also planning an entry to bluebull's challenge
@Highground
Your best build IMO. Lots of fun.
@47parzival41 yes, it's basically an f-14 but watered down. Just like what you did at your u3
