Entrant into Kerbango's Sub-assembly Challenge. This build started with 3x sub assemblies, blue flame jet engines, large nacelled tubofan engines and the lightbulb emblem (kinda sciency i suppose).
The Nefarious Science explorer looks on the outside to be a harmless scientific research aircraft with ample observation, sensors and space for instrumentation...
But what lies beneath? AG3 and VTOL up drops the center experiment bay to reveal two jet engines that when lit give off a horrific dark blue glow. An even greater shock is what fuels the engines... Cartoonish open barrels of nuclear waste! But that is not all, two extra barrels sit next to the aft cargo ramp (lowered with AG2 and VTOL up) ready to be pushed overboard with AG5 and 6 and a slight climb. Can't be bringing back the evidence now can we. Enjoy, and be nefarious responsibly.
