In 1980, the United States Air Force needed a new, heavily armored ground attack aircraft to replace the old F-105 Thunderchief. Because of the economic difficulties, the US Air Force asked Mark Company, one of the US military aircraft companies to upgrade the F-105 accordingly. Mark Corp created this design, called the F-105Y, based on the previous F-105 drawing, which has a larger, modern radar that allows further viewing of targets, and a more powerful engine for allowed for faster flight, and improved airframe, also redesigned to carry Hellfire missiles, and carry more bombs, but had to drop some fuel tanks, reducing range. . F-105Y is also equipped with more modern RWR and ECM (ECM does not work in the game)
