F5F-4 Thundercat
Made with Fine Tuner FYI
A Predessesor to the Hellcat, but a successor to the Wildcat, the Thundercat was an experiment to try and create a multirole carrior based aircraft. Capable of mounting bombs and rockets with the standard six 50. Cal M2 Brownings, the Thundercat also featured folding wings, fully trimable elevator planes, and a parachute for landing due to a suprisingly high co-efficent of lift. Due to its wing size however, when in high G manouvers it was found that one wing would stall before the other, resulting in rolling during a stall, this only occured when the elevators were pulled all the way back.
