This is my submission for Echostar’s hovercraft challenge.
Please excuse the poor quality post; I am tight on time and really wanted to participate.
This hovercraft is based off of my carcinus 1 tank from a year ago, I modified it to perform better coming up against slopes and to be more maneuverable. The main hover mechanism uses ground effect from the rotors hidden in each if the 6 pods; I chose this method to allow each leg to be affected independantly against slopes to try and make a cool suspension effect. I included a hidden jet that activates below 5 feet agl to prevent the legs from making contact with slopes when going fast.
