Note: The paint colous look a lot better in game than they do in the hangar. The Short Sunderland was a British patrol and bomber flying boat. It was introduced in 1938, and was so successful due to its long range, durability and 16 machine guns in various turrets that it wasn't taken out of service until 1959 (RAF) and 1967 (RNZAF). Sunderlands were used all over the North Atlantic, the Mediterranean and off the coast of Australia and New Zealand as patrol aircraft, mine layers, maritime bombers and as anti-submarine aircraft. Even after WWII, some operated in the Berlin airlift and the Korean war. Instructions: AG 1-4 activate the respective engines. AG 5 activates the nose turret (2x machine guns, camera 1), AG 6 activates the dorsal turret (2x machine guns, camera 2) and AG 7 activates the rear turret (4x machine guns, camera 3). AG 8 activates the bomb bay, the use of the bombs and the 4x fixed front machine guns. You CANNOT operate the Sunderland from land, you can only operate it from water. Take-off speed is about 140mph (225kph), and you should get as slow as possible before landing to avoid flipping. When handling on the water, use about 20% throttle and turn by activating or deactivating the outer engines. They will turn off if thier respective activation group is also off. The Sunderland comes with 8x 250lb bombs in racks underneath the wings. Have Fun!
